<p>I emailed my admissions counselor today because I have a deadline to reply to a university on the 28th and he told me to wait until Friday… :(</p>
<p>However, he was pretty clear that all decisions should be received by this Friday at the latest.</p>
<p>wow this sucks. All I can envision is opening up a rejection letter…depressing.</p>

<p>Northwestern’s transfer process is quite similar to Georgetown’s - they really make you wait. It seems a bit illogical considering most other schools have response deadlines that fall on or before June 1st.</p>

<p>Whatever. If I stay at GW I can graduate a semester early anyway. The more I think about it, I’m starting to believe that the small difference between a degree from Georgetown and a degree from George Washington isn’t really worth spending an extra semester in school.</p>

<p>At this point, I would assume that most letters are rejections. However, don’t lose hope yet because when I was looking at Gtown transfer blogs from 2008 and 2009 there were a few individuals who heard May 26th and 27th that they were accepted. Good luck to everyone

<p>@Athletics12 - you should get yours tomorrow or Friday. People in the DC area got theirs yesturday and said they were sent out monday.</p>
<p>Received my small envelope today expecting a rejection after an admissions officer told me I was rated “unlikely…” </p>
<p>Surprisingly I made the waitlist.</p>
