@19High8 was it on the portal?
I got a notification by portal with an email telling me to view my decision. Was not expecting at all to get a decision this early.
Here are my stats:
UW HS GPA: 3.88 without freshman year around maybe a 3.75 with
College GPA: 4.0 first semester and 4.0 on the midterm grades (coming from a top 30 school)
SAT: 1500
Subject Test: 780
Had really good essays in my opinion and had a great hour long interview
@19High8 What school did you apply to? Seems like NHS was like this last year with applications out first and everything was rolling.
I applied to SFS. What’s NHS?

Thank you! I will say that on the acceptance letter they said that they are looking to fill about 120 spots so thats about 20 more than last year based on the common data set.
Congrats to everyone else who got in and good luck to those who are still waiting! I’m coming from a liberal arts college and I applied as a science major. I did not get an interview for georgetown
Thanks for the updates everyone. Was a little concerned but looks like NHS applicants are the only ones with decisions today. Since the materials email asked for docs before 4/23 crossing fingers for a decision either Wednesday or Thursday.
I got into Georgetown College and didn’t get contacted for an interview (so don’t worry if you didn’t get one!). I got an email telling me my decision was made around 8:30 est, and I got the decision on my portal. I have until 6/15 to reply, which is great.
In terms of stats, I don’t feel comfortable posting them because I’m a little paranoid about privacy stuff, but feel free to PM me and I’ll tell you them!
@herewegooo welp, there goes my theory and now Im back to concerned lol maybe tomorrow for me. Ugh
@SatanFlower69 I submitted my application kinda early (everything was turned in by 2/22 I think), so perhaps that’s why I heard today. I didn’t request an early read. I hope you hear soon and good luck!! I’m sure it’ll all work out:)

To the people that were accepted- did the letter say how many applicants there were this year?
I got in for SFS, and I submitted by 3/15!
The letter said there were over 2,200 applicants for 120 spots. Keep in mind that, with everything going on, a lot of people who were accepted might not be able to claim a spot, though.
@SatanFlower69 I’m definitely still deciding, especially because of COVID-19. They’re actually the first school I heard back from:)
Thats not bad at all; last year there were over 2600 applicants for 100 spots. Trying to be hopeful!
