That’s what Columbia did this year. They waited until the last hour possible and then rejected everyone 
The strange thing also is that the FAQ says this:
When will I hear back from Georgetown if I wish to be considered for Spring 2022 transfer admission?
We anticipate extending some if not most of our Spring 2022 offers of transfer admission between late-June and mid-July. As noted in your letter, we will be back in touch with all Wait List candidates on or before July 15.
Maybe they do plan on releasing all notices, including acceptances, on Thursday?
More likely than not they’ll just put some people on an extended waitlist and postpone acceptances till August

Looks like it… Anyone know what happens to Financial Aid? Do I have to re-apply on the CB website. If so, that’s a pain in the ass, my country has so many limits on international transfers.
2019, they announced the extended waitlist on July 13. 2020, they announced on the 15th. So, we could hear back anytime now.

Yeah where’d you see/hear this? Is it true? Because when I called the admissions office, they told me that all transfer waitlisted candidates will hear back at the same time

Dang, this was tough. Was not accepted. Congrats to the folks who got in. Don’t waste the opportunity to make a difference.
I chose to only be considered for fall 2021 but i got put on the extended waitlist for spring 2022. is this the same for everyone?

I chose 2021 Spring originally but they still refused me for 2020 Fall first and then said I am among "a select number of transfer candidates invited to keep their names on an extended wait list until October 1, 2021, from which students will be considered for spring 2022 transfer admission as seats become available. " Did everyone on the waitlist automatically be invited to the extended waitlist or there were people rejected?
