i really dont have the pay now option canva and all that on my âpassportâ the oscar login. so i guess its not showing for everyone, may be just the admitted deferred or waitlisted.
and not even on my home page before login.
Same options for me as well.

you have to create a GT Account first, if you didnât apply for financial aids, you might not have done it. I didnât for my twins, until 2 days ago.

my portal is the same except at the top with all users and registration I also have a tab called Financial aid.

I have it but I donât believe Ive applied for financial aid (checked common app and didnt see the option)
As long as you created your GT account, you would have it.
My daughter attempted to login to her GT account yesterday afternoon and was prompted to enter something like emergency contacts, with placeholders to enter name, email and phone of 2 guardians. Seemed a little strange to require our info just now, but maybe she was prompted when she first applied but was able to override this. Portal astrology 
Happened to my kids too.

Just to be clear the OSCAR stuff is there for everyone. Not everyone got in sadly. It means nothing this year, at least for now.

Unfortunately, that is not an indicator. We had that in 2021 and my kid was waitlisted.
There used to be a way to click on a link that will back door you in to see if you got in. Listed in the 2022 thread maybe? Or the 2020? I found it last year and it showed the acceptance letter. Likely wonât work until decisions are loaded, and decisions probably wonât be loaded until next Thursday at the earliest. Usually Friday
Also, the one thing that was indicative last year was whether you showed My Award Letter. Pay Now didnât mean anything - that loop hole was fixed. But if your screen shows a tab for my award letter (even if no FA applied for) that was good news.

There is a tab that says âMy Offersâ but it says no info available for this aid year. Given it says elsewhere the schools wonât even get FAFSA info from the government until February 1 (donât get me started on that one), Iâm guessing this may be meaningless.

I have that as well. It probably does not mean anything. Iâm expecting rejection and have it.
It does not relate to whether you filled out FASFA or applied for Financial Aid. We didnât. Doubtful it would make any sort of distinction at all a week before offers go out. Historically decisions are loaded Friday morning and portals start to change mid afternoon. Itâs also very possible that they fixed it from last year. They do read these boards.

What Iâm talking about was not on a tab, it was on a hyperlink in Oscar and didnât appear til mid afternoon the day decisions were released. This sounds different.

My current freshman did in December 22. He was admitted EA and it showed up Friday afternoon. All his friends that got in had it. The ones who didnât have it were deferred or rejected. Same thing for DS21 - except he didnât have it and was deferred.
It has definitely worked over the past few years, but that doesnât mean itâs going to work this year. Georgia Tech does read these boards and has closed prior loopholes like the pay now button. Best of luck to all!
