Question for in-state early action admits: Did any of you get an email about housing? Trying to figure when and how to pay the housing deposit. Will there be an email or do we need to be on the lookout on OSCAR? Thanks!
So in Oscar when I had pressed make a payment there used to be options like paying for things like rec fees etc. but now when I press it there are no options to pay for. Is anyone else seeing this?
Yes, options are gone.

Housing this year for the first time is lottery based with no priority for depositing early. As long as you pay housing deposit by the deadline you are good.

Just saw it opened today for first year registration.
Several posts deleted since a user created second account (which is a ToS violation) to post unverifiable (and probably wrong) information.

@VirginiaBelle Thank you. Where do we see the housing info usually? Admission portal or OSCAR? OSCAR has an option to update housing contacts or something but nothing to sign up for housing or pay a deposit. Thanks again.

How recently was her financial aid information completed/submitted? Mine was completed on Jan. 14 for reference.
We completed before December 2024, but I never recall seeing that message.
Yeah, this âREQUIRED READINGâŠâ message is definitely recent. We will have to wait on others to confirm seeing to determine if it could mean anything.
