one their website, they said they evaluate kids on 100 basis, not 4.0 basis. anyone has previous accepted kid especially OOS care to share what is view as a good grade in 100 basis.?
Is there an advantage of applying to âSummer 2025 or Fall 2025â as opposed to âFall 2025â in terms of admissions? On GT lite, their admission stats page, there tends to be a significantly higher acceptance rate with the Summer 2025 pathway rather than students who applied to Fall 2025.
Iâm not sure what you are looking at, but Ga Tech does not recalculate GPAs. They take the GPAs right off the transcript.

It says they use 100 point system which is very different from letter grade 94 is a A for letter grade and 100 points is much more differentiated, our district uses 100 point system, that is why I asked, curious what grade considered great or soso,
This says they use what is on the transcript. The majority of HSs in the US show GPAs on a 4 point scale.
The GPA we consider is the one taken directly from your high school transcript. We will use a 100-point GPA, if available, and weighted, if available. If not, weâre happy to consider a 4.0 GPA or similar and/or unweighted GPA.
Remember, they arenât comparing students across high schools, just within their HS cohort/class.
I know, just curious what they take as a 100 point scale, just like every one posted their 4.0. 100 point scale , a 94 is a 4.0 and 99 is 4.0 and letâs face it, they are very different, when u see a 3.7 here, u say hmmm and 4.0 u say, maybe, i do not know how OOS works , our valedictorian heading to MIT ( that kid took much easier class ⊠Ap art vs ap stat⊠history honor VS ap world type thiing and gpa 102.42 ⊠vs 102.34âŠmy daughter , the salutatorian is struggling to get in Georgia tech,I am just hating this whole process, all about strategy, what class to take and when
I agree those are different, and may be students of a different caliber. GA tech would accept whatever the schoolâs grading scale is, look at the studentsâ course rigor, and the difference between the two students in your example would show in the class rank/relative standing/rigor as compared with each other and other students in their class.
I wouldnât focus on other students in your kids class or try to explain their admission results because no one sees the entire application besides the schools (and sometimes the HS counselors.)
I have the âpay now!â button. Go to your âOffice of Scholarships and Financial Aidâ and choose âCheck Stausâ tab on top. Then you will see a hyperlink to âOSCARâ - click it. Then choose âsecure access login.â On the far right will be a âpay nowâ button. It doesnât show anything that I can actually buy since it requires another login. But I am able to see âpurchaseâ buttons under the dining section and when I verify the 3 boxes there, the purchase button goes live.
My son has the Pay Now button as well. I guess the question now is whether there is anyone that doesnât have this button?
I have the Pay Now button too.
I have the Pay Now button as well. Itâs been there for a while, and If no one doesnât have it, then it probably doesnât mean anything.
need to stop this botton thing, based on last year outcome, it doesnât mean anything

Under that thread, someone said accessing folio in canvas is a good sign. Probably more portal astrology.
Mine can access Folio but maybe everyone can!
We donât see âfolioâ and donât know what it is.
Updated:
Having or not having access to Folio has nothing to do with admissions as per last year thread
âHouston, we have a problem.â
Same.
When I post the link, I was hoping to stop all those non sense, you really think a âtechâ school top ranked in the world will leave signs after years and years experience, patience is a virtue. Results will be ou less than 2 weeks, stop driving yourself crazy⊠I
I just want to shake my head, if George tech is this incompetent and let out admit or not on a simple thing like this year after year, I will not want my kid go there
