Okay, so this might be a really naive question, but in general how would you go about getting a terrible guidance counselor fired? Are complaints from one student enough to get that counselor fired? Does the guidance counselor technically have to actually do something illegal to get fired, or is being a horribly ineffective, intimidating, and misleading counselor a sufficient reason for being fired?

er… i dunno if one student can get a guidance counseler fired. (after all, adults are always unsure of kids, unfortunately speaking. some think they are the wiser. or not. :P) But, you can always try. :)

er, could you try making the principle change the bad habits/substance of that guidance counselor in question?

LIME.

No, complaints aren’t enough. I’ve been trying to switch my guidance counselor for two years and nothing has worked yet. (It’s alphabetical.)

I wish I could get mine to retire. She is always the opposite of helpful, and she never knows what she’s talking about. She doesn’t even know my name…
