Getting nominated for awards...

<p>I live in Canada, and there are a few awards that you can be nominated for for excellent leadership and/or volunteering. I’d really like to be nominated for such awards, but the thing is, I’m not sure my supervisor knows about these awards. </p>

<p>So what should I do? Asking him to submit a nomination for me sounds kind of awkward, but that may be the only way. Does anyone have any experience with such things and how to go about it?</p>

<p>Just get up and ask him for those nominations, if no one else in your school’s going to get them.</p>

<p>I agree; if your supervisor doesn’t know about them, there’s certainly no harm in asking for a nomination.</p>
