Rooting for the 49ers and Pats. Will never root for a NY team or a team with Ray Lewis.

Maybe it’s just been too long, but it seems like people are making a much bigger deal about this than in the past. I don’t remember Coit Tower being in red/gold lights before.
All of the Cumulus radio stations (and that includes KFOG) will be simulcasting the game. I don’t think they did that in the Montana/Walsh days. I do remember the Super Bowl parades, but that was different.

as a Giant fan, I’m rooting for the Ravens. We’ve made our mark against the Pats, but we need to avenge the SB loss to the Ravens. But honestly, the Pats look scary good.

Nrdsb4–Eli makes rooting for the Giants a pleasure. He seems to be such a sincerely good guy. And his brother and him make the best commercials!

Plus, Victor Cruz is a feel-good story and a local guy makes good.

On offense. Their defensive performance was not so good. Kind of like the Packers and Saints.

If the 49ers and Ravens go to the Super Bowl, will it set the record for fewest points?

Wow, what a game! Just saw the Ravens get squeaked out by the Pats. Surprisingly close game. The Pats - and particularly Brady - did not play to my expectations, even though they won. Brady had 2 interceptions that were flagged off, so he lucked out there. All in all, a pretty interesting game.

I’m glad the Pats won. I hope the same for SF.

I don’t know if anyone else has already said this, but I just watched an interview between Terry Bradshaw and Alex Smith, and I couldn’t stop thinking how much Alex Smith looks like the actor Ryan Gosling.

The Patriots were so lucky. That last interception by the Ravens was a manifestation of Brady desperation today. Ravens should definitely have made that field goal. Maybe it was a let down for Brady after the whole Tebow extravaganza. They need to regroup for the SB!!

^ I think they should have protected the ball better on their last set of plays, too. Having a caught ball stripped in the end zone is just not a coach’s dream. I know it’s easy for me to say, but geez. Protect the ball, will ya?

I didn’t really have a dog in this fight, but I decided to root for the Ravens purely and simply because of Michael Lewis’ book.

Hayden , i actually thought the play where ball was stripped wasa TD…he had possession, 2 feet appeared down, and THEN the ball was stripped…i need to see that play again, though i replayed it rigt after it happened and i still thought it was a TD

Giamts v. Niners!

Let’s get it on!

Go Big Blue!

The patriots have been lucky all season by having a schedule stacked with teams having losing records. If I were the team playing them in the superbowl, I’d be concerned - I think they’re God’s team.

As a life long Packer fan living in Maryland, I’m now rooting for the Niners all the way to their Super Bowl win.

qdogpa, you might be right, but I would have thought the Ravens would have tossed the challenge flag if there were a question, wouldn’t they?

The Giants - 49er game is on, hope it’s a good game. If the G’s can run tonight, it should be okay. If they leave their running shoes in the locker, it may not be so close.

Adobe, I thought the same thing. I’m surprised it wasn’t challenged.

The late game will be awful. Already is, and just got worse.

I thought the flag should have been thrown, my guess is they were so stunned by what happened, they froze…

Damn, iPad. Adobe was supposed to be qdog. I thought it was a catch.

Glad you recognized that I was talking to you. The announcers didn’t mention it either, though. But it looked like catch, step, step, strip, out of bounds to me.

Lol,i have the same problems wit. Y ipad

With my ipad…
