I’m graduating and I want to get a gift for my physics teacher who I have had for two years. He is one of the best teachers I’ve had in high school; he’s really fun, witty, and smart. He loves physics-y things (obviously) and is obsessed with the Green Day Packers. I’m willing to spend up to $30.

I also have a great male history (World History/Human Geography) teacher and a female Calculus teacher I want to buy gifts for. I’m willing to spend about $20 on them.

Any relevant, cool, and creative gift suggestions would be nice!

For the physics teachers, if he doesn’t have one already, Newton’s Cradles are pretty cool, physics-y gifts. They’re also fairly cheap too, I believe the one I have was about $10. Good luck finding some gifts.

Misogyny right there :(.

is it a private or public school?

i’d suggest looking on thinkgeek.com; they have all around geeky things, and i’m sure you could find something relevant to those subjects

It is very nice that you want to give gifts to your teachers and says a lot about what they have given you since you have been a student with them. Everyone enjoys the feeling of being appreciated and it will make a big difference to them to know that they impressed a student that much.

All that being said it seems that people of all ages are always happy to get gift cards. With a 20 or 30 dollar gift card, a teacher can go and do something that they would not normally have the chance to.

For instance, teachers have to live on a modest income and will not spend a great deal of money going out. A gift card from a restaurant would be a nice treat. While you might think that say 20 bucks won’t be enough to go out to eat with a friend it will go a long way in covering the bill.

Some would say that giving away a gift card from a store that the teacher could get school supplies from would be a nice gesture, but the card that allows them a little luxury, such a drinks or dinner, would be a chance to pamper themselves and would be very nice.
