Go small, get good grades?

Hi,
well first of all I’m going to go to university in Canada

and I have not chosen what I want to do yet. all of my option other than business would be things I’d have to get a agree in AFTER a bachelors (law school, medical school dentistry etc).

since getting accepted to these schools is so tough, I’ve heard that it’s better to go to a small school where getting good grades is easier for your bachelors degree than to go to a large school with grade deflation.

Is this true?
I didn’t really imagine myself at a small school(like LAC size) for my undergrad. I’ll do what I gotta do to get in but being in the middle of nowhere isn’t very appealing to me.

help…

anyone???

There aren’t any true LAC’s in Canada besides St. Thomas and Quest. I’ve heard that U of T is brutal for deflation, but otherwise it seems manageable.

edit: It never occurred to me that Acadia and Mount A. were liberal arts colleges. oops

i know, i was just giving people an idea of the size, like mount allison or st fx

my friend says go to those schools and get good grades then take law or medicine at big schools
