Going Into High School next year.

Well, this may be pretty weird but (signing up for this site) but anyways.

I’ll be going into HS next year, 9th grade.

I just signed up for my classes, http://oi51.■■■■■■■.com/55gzeh.jpg</a>
(ss of classes registered for)

They said honors classes were best to sign up for, but I have some questions.

I have the option of 3 electives, or two. 3 if I’m taking music or a tutor class.
Would it better for me to take orchestra or a math tutor class? I believe I need extra help in math, but I want to continue playing my bass throughout my high school years.

also I heard my middle school grades don’t matter for future stuff, is this true?
these are my current quarter 3 grades (which ended);

science; B+

Will my grades effect what classes I get put into?

-thank you!

You don’t need to be on here…

Your middle school grades only matter to the extent that they may influence what classes you are put into in high school. (And high school classes do matter.) Colleges will not look at your middle school grades. Ask your counselor if you’re wondering whether your grades will affect your placement next year. Yes, honors classes are better (for college admissions).

Take orchestra if you really want to play bass and get a math tutor outside of school if you need it.
