So as you probably know by now by my various threads, I want to be a journalist. I’ve looked into state colleges that have journalism programs, and colleges centered fully around journalism, realizing I probably don’t have much of a chance getting into the former, since I just now got really interested in the profession, while they’re looking for students who have been surrounding themselves with journalistic related activities for years and years

Anyway, can I still be successful in the career, if I go to a state college like WSU, which has pretty good journalism programs, as opposed to Syracuse, which is considered among the top?
