Good film schools?

<p>I’m looking for an affordable college with a quality film program. I want to go into documentary filmmaking as a career. It seems like all the schools I have found that have good programs are insanely expensive. I’m hoping for a public school because that is the most realistic financially, but I am not opposed to private. </p>

<p>I would also like there to be a decent journalism program just in case I change my mind from film. Most schools it seems have only one or the other. I’ve seen a lot of schools that offer both, but I was not impressed by the quality of the programs. </p>

<p>If you know of any schools with great programs in BOTH of these, please reply. :)</p>

<p>Assuming you’re international (since you posted in the Nepal forum), public schools are not necessarily cheaper than private schools. Public schools rarely give financial aid/scholarships to internationals.</p>
