It seems everyone is getting ‘hang tight’ email at different times. I received mine yesterday titled “How Google Hires”. Is this the email everyone has been getting? Just wanted to know if the content is also different as well, which I doubt.

@torirgee Same, I got my supplemental less than 24 hours after I applied and no interviews yet either. I’m assuming how soon after you apply that you get the supplemental just depends on how quickly a recruiter is able to see your application.
@jsp283 From what I’ve noticed, it seems as though it depends on when you applied and who your recruiter is. Generally, I get mine a couple of day after you guys. I also think that we all get the same emails, but I have no way to confirm that. I do know that I seemed to have gotten a different email from you guys initially after I applied, but everything after that seems to be the same. (If you want a comparison, the last “hang tight” I got was about culture at Google.)
I also got a hang tight email yesterday with the same content. But it seems like the person in post 419 here got one about how to prep for an interview. Probs same few emails just sent out in random orders, because I got an interview prep one a while back

@jsp283 Nope…and according to LinkedIn, there hasn’t been anyone outside of the APMM interns that got into BOLD for marketing yet. So…fingers crossed I guess.

Does anyone know if Google will for sure let you know if you’ve been rejected? I haven’t gotten a hang tight email in almost a month, and I feel like they were sending stuff out more frequently before.

@juliar95 Well, at least I’m not the only one…I haven’t gotten a hang tight email since like early January. I’m assuming it’s up to the discretion of your recruiter, and if they remember to send out one or not. But considering there are still waves of people receiving theirs, I guess Google’s recruiters are still periodically sending them out.
@DestinForGreatness I applied for marketing, but with my background, I could just as easily go into any other business/analytics related area as well except for accounting. How about you, which one did you apply for?

I received an email inbox march 2nd offering me an interview with the bold marketing! How long does it take to know the date of your interview?

I am still waiting to get an interview offer so I won’t be of help to your question, but may I ask when you received the most recent hang tight email? I applied for marketing as well and since I always get my hang tight emails few days later than some people, I wanted to get sense of where I may be standing in line.

@jsp283 And here I am still waiting for my hang tight email…lol. I’m tempted to reach out to the BOLD team to see if they received my supplemental (even though I got the response email and checked my answers over like 20x) since I’ve only received like 1 hang tight email since I’ve applied…
@BladeHunter Hmm that is odd you’ve only got 1 hang tight email, but since you’ve got one I’m sure you are still in the loop! If you are worried, you shouldn’t hesitate to email them though because I have previously done it to check if my supplemental had been properly submitted.
