Me too on the sinus headache. I’m glad you said that. I thought it was just me. I’ve been battling a severe sinus infection since Dec. 6. 3 rounds of antibiotics and I thought I was better. Today my right jaw bone/a molar aches so bad and I was afraid I needed a root canal or…something…something painful and expensive.

Now I’m going to take Advil and go with the theory that my always poor sinuses are messed up because the wind chill is 90 degrees warmer here than Tuesday.

Weather seems normal. I’ll be able to bust out in a sweater and shorts at least ONE day next week. Then it’ll drop back down again. Florida is messing with my emotions.

It’s not cold enough here this time for me to be concerned, I don’t start to worry until it’s -20 or colder.

Though, my shower drain did freeze last time when it was still around 0 so I will probably check that when I get home, I maybe should have put in some antifreeze last night. We will be doing something with that pipe come spring, it’s Michigan, I can’t put RV antifreeze down the drain all winter.

We have been to school on time exactly one day during the new year. Maybe two, but that’s it. I can deal with cold or snow or wind. -20 wind chill tonight. I’ve never seen I65 (portions between Indianapolis and Chicago) closed this often in my entire life. Indiana will still be playing high school basketball make-up games at graduation :)

-14 degrees this morning and that’s a record for me. My grandson’s school was on a two-hour delay because they have used up all of their snow days already. It seems by the time they get the kids off the buses it will soon be time for lunch and then recess.

It was 60 here last Sunday. Zero tonight, with windchills in the -15 to -25 range.

I’ll sometimes check the weather for cities where my relatives live:
High tomorrow in Anchorage: 41 and raining. High in Memphis? 25. Dallas? 37.
Anchorage is having a very warm winter with temps above freezing for the next 10 days, lots of rain.

Haven’t heard a reply back from S–it’s cold for him & snowing and he hasn’t driven much in snow. I’m sure he is sticking to main roads, where the snow melts upon impact, but the idea of it turning to ice is scary, as it’s less than 32 degrees.
