GPA - Brazil (All 4 years?)

Hello,
I’m aware this may be a silly question, but I’d like to know wether the GPA average takes into account grades of all 4 years.

Also, here in Brazil the so-called high school has only 3 years. So would the last year of “junior high” here be regarded as the freshman year in US?

You can compute your GPA any way you like - you’ll just have to be very explicit about what went into the computation. I used as my GPA the official GPA computed by my school, which only takes the last two years into account.

That being said, US colleges still want to see grades from the last 4 years of your secondary education (i.e. the most recent 3 years if you are still in school). Colleges who actually use GPA numbers normally re-compute GPAs according to their own rules to make comparisons possible.
