Grade Point Average

<p>Do universities, especially Boston University, round up the GPA to two digit or do they keep it as it is (Of three digit number)?</p>

<p>If you want to know how a specific person, office or university would round your GPA, you’ll have to ask them directly. There’s no universal answer. </p>

<p>Do not translate any GPA from an international HS, just send the transcript for the target US school to calculate your GPA, the methods vary from school to school.</p>

<p>Boston University is a gigantic institution with probably more than one opinion on that matter. If you’re concerned about one specific program, you really need to get in touch with someone from that program directly. </p>

<p>BU does not ask you to convert your GPA to a 4-point scale, so report the GPA on your transcript, to the decimal point as reported on your transcript. For further info, see here:</p>
