grades

Is it normal for people who are generally good at math and science to horribly bomb (i.e. receive a 70 percent or less) a test in any of those subjects, especially if they’re AP?

I’m an aspiring doctor, so this is kind of worrying me. I can afford a high B in calculus, but not a B in chemistry…

OMG!! A B in chemistry! How could you! It’s the end of your world!

Seriously though, it only means you are human. You bombed a test, not the class. If it is an AP class, then it is even less of a big deal because those classes are supposed to be more difficult. As far as the doctor thing is concerned, med schools don’t care about your high school grades, so this won’t affect you.

My advice is that high school is a load of crap so doing bad on a test means nothing as long as you maintain a decent grade.
