What is Buffalo’s grading policy. Are assignments based on a C curve, bell curve or neither?

i’m not sure if this is what you’re looking for, i found it on the pharmacy page…i think but A+:4.0 A:3.7 B(either plus or normal… don’t remember):3.5 the next B:3.3 C:2.0 and something like that

This is a stupid question.

In any given semester, there are HUNDREDS of courses being taught at UB. Each course has a different grading policy, as given by the course’s professor/instructor on the course’s syllabus. The only thing about grading that’s uniform is the value the FINAL LETTER GRADE for the course has when it is factored into your semester G.P.A.

Some teachers curve and some don’t. Ive been in classes where a 91% will give ya a F and ive been in classes where a 25 will give ya a C.

Like, Dr. Horse and constantillusion said (harsh as it may be) the curve depends entirely on the course and the professor. From experience, a lot of the english, history type courses are not curved and the math, science type are usually curved because everyone does so bad.
