Graduate school opportunities coming from St. F X or Mount Allison University

Hi,

I am a student from the US who is considering applying to these two schools and will probably be a major in economics. My GPA is 4.0 and my SAT is 2050 (31 ACT), which makes me a likely candidate for scholarships along with the low tuition rate in Canada. These schools look like wonderful institutions, with many research opportunities and close professor, student relationships; however, I am more concerned with opportunities after graduation. Would I be able to get into top American schools for graduate studies, or would the lack of name recognition and the fact that is in Canada hurt me? Can anyone offer me their opinions, from either personal experience or stories that you have heard?

Thanks,
J

You should apply to Queen’s.
