Hello, I will be graduating soon from a nationally recognized private school. A friend of mine told me that I will have a high chance of being admitted into colleges in USA.
Is that true?
for the people who want to know my school, it’s ACS international school
You still have to have the grades, the SAT/ACT scores, the ECs, luck – and money. If your family can afford $60,000/year for four years, many American colleges will welcome you with open arms (and bank accounts.)
Actually the statement, “I will be graduating soon from [any school at all]. You have a high chance of being admitted into colleges in the USA” is completely true. The key is which schools. There is a difference between Greendale Community College and Yale, although both are colleges in the USA.
The OP goes to ACS (which was originally American Community Schools), where it is even easier to ensure that you are ready for an American University, as you can get an American curriculum including AP classes and exams. That being said there are huge differences between ACS Cobham, Egham and Hillingdon, Doha, and Singapore.
