Hey, I am currently a sophomore. I am planning ahead for my junior/senior classes, and thinking about which classes to take. My counselor said if I wanted to graduate with honors, i must take four years of science, math, history, and literature, along with other credits. What exactly are the benefits of graduating with honors? Is it worth the investment? Time is very precious to me, I would appreciate having a free period during my senior year, but if I am graduating with honors, that will take up most of my time.
I don’t know much about it but they told me that you would get an honors stamp or something on your diploma? I’m not really sure either --freshman ^_^’
It is beneficial to take four years of a science/math/history/english anyways; many colleges recommend that one does. My school (and most other schools in my area) do not have an honors program in high school, so I don’t know what the benefits would be.
