21 Pilots really deserved Record of the year award! Adele has a great voice, but her songs are yawn…
Our local TV is doing a rerun… so we are watching what we missed. 21 Pilots accepting their award in their undies… LOL. Best speech of the day!
^^^ D1 lives in their hometown, Columbus Ohio - the town LOVES these guys - you might not love their music but they are quite likeable. 
I had to go to bed after the Prince tribute - they should move these awards to Saturday night not the night before going back to work!
21 Pilots? Record of the Year? Not even if you limited the voting to 13-18 year-olds. But they were definitely cute in their boxers.
I had mixed feelings about Beyonce’s peformance. It was truly stellar. I did marvel, however, at the Grammy’s giving 9 minutes to showcase a single performer’s work.
I think this album was something she put her entire soul into; I imagine she was disappointed to lose in the major categories. But I think this one will always be considered her greatest work.
I missed the red carpet… Guess I did not miss much!

With regard to the dresses…UGH!!! I hated almost every single one except the one worn by singer (never heard of her), Kelsea Ballerini. The prevalence of the entire center section of the upper dress being cut out and down to the waist is very unattractive to me, and comes across as for shock value.
Just a few minutes of watching Beyoncé, and we turned it off. I guess we should just fast forward through her and watch the other stuff. Kind of creeped out by her mom introducing her, and then she’s practically naked with her boobs, butt and stomach bursting out. I really am not into that, and I always find it disappointing that she feels like she has to dress like such a sleaze, when she is so talented. Perhaps we’re supposed to marvel at her beauty while pregnant? Ugh.
I do think she’s beautiful while pregnant.

I loved Cynthia Erivo’s dress-very majestic and the color really popped with her hair.
Hillary Scott’s dress was beautiful and fitted her well, I thought Enya’s dress was really lovely, Giuliana Rancic still looks emaciated, and Cee Lo Green is hilarious! The shots from the Yahoo website were pretty universally not flattering-I need to find one that had better lighting…
What do her costume choices have to do with her morality? I wasn’t aware we could accurate determine other people’s morals by how much skin they choose to show.
@busdriver11 - why were you “creeped out” by her mom introducing her? I can understand NOT understanding why her mom gets the privilege - but “creeped out” suggests you felt something else?
I went through that whole slideshow of 117 Grammy outfits that @BunsenBurner posted and I have to agree with @soozievt, there were only a couple that I found halfway okay. Kelsea Ballerini’s was one and the dress worn by Malina Moye (whoever she is), # 80 in the slideshow, was very pretty.

I was not creeped out by the introduction at first, I thought it was sweet. And then Beyoncé came on, practically naked, A mother introducing her daughter, dressed like a stripper, which is what I found that creepy. And I know her mother supports this look, apparently she helps her with her outfit design. Yes, some people consider ladies who dance around suggestively, wearing almost nothing to be “artistic”, but to me, it looks like nothing but porn.
And to answer austinmsharuis question,
, I would say that stripping down to almost nothing in public is a little more than a “costume choice”. If you choose to dress and act like a porn star, then don’t be surprised if that is what people will consider you to be. The objectifying of women and selling sexuality for profits is something I will never like, and no, I do not consider that moral.
I’m pretty sure they don’t wear any clothing at all in porn movies. /
Are swimsuits only for porn stars, too?
Beyonce’s mom was absolutely the most appropriate choice to introduce her for her performance. It wouldn’t have made as much sense if anyone else did it.
