Grammys 2018

Such a string of award shows!! I do enjoy current music though I’m sure there will be a mix of people I know and those I don’t. I’ll have the show on and multi task doing other things…chime in if you watch tonight! I believe they are starting at 7:30 - and they are in NYC for the first time outside of LA since 2003.

I’m watching both on TV and online right now.

Watching tonight. Hope to be introduced to some music that is new to me (hey, Daveed Diggs in a commercial!).

But… six minutes in, not sure I’m going to last the night.

My kids adore Kendrick Lamar - that was powerful.

And I used to never be a Gaga fan but dang, her voice and piano - goosebumps.

I missed the first 1/2 hour assuming it started at 8PM ET. Just tuned in.

I wish I could understand what Kendrick Lamar sings.

I underestimated Lady GaGa until she belted out The sound of Music at the Oscars a few years back. I nw adore her and was probably one of the oldest people attending her last concert.

Does anyone know who that young boy was singing with Childish Gambino? So good.

Pink was great.

Lady Gaga was fabulous…as usual. What a tallent!

And really…could, they stick to the music! That subway scene was awful!

@thumper1 I agree, the subway seen was too much, in this climate there is no excuse to antagonize and strike someone for the sake of ‘comedy.’

I think it was just a play on the fact that were in NYC and the same things don’t fly in NYC as they do in LA. Especially since this is the first time in 15 years the show has been in NYC. No more offensive than a good bit of comedy on tv right now.

Kesha was the highlight so far.

^^Very emotional and powerful performance.

That was a great relevant performance by Kesha. Powerful

Love Elton John. Anyone plan to see him on his extended Farewell tour? I was fortunate enough to see him live in 2014. He’s such a great performer.

He did my favorite song of his, too. I’ll bet he’s great in concert.
