<p>I was not a big Elvis fan. My mom was. However, I can go back now and listen to some of his songs and appreciate what a great voice he had.</p>

That’s interesting, lilmom, about maybe not liking Elvis’ music since your parents didn’t listen to him. My parents didn’t listen to the Beatles but they did listen to Elvis, The Supremes, The Platters, The Imperials, Frankie Lymon, etc., all groups I still enjoy to this day. I often think I should have been a teen in the 50’s.</p>

<p>I like Adele, will get her songs online, but D2 said her songs are kind of depressing. On the West Coast, we’ve just heard ColdPlay, I don’t understand why Coldplay is so popular, Chris Martin can’t sing or sing out of tune.</p>

<p>I love Coldplay’s ‘Green Eyes’ and several other songs of theirs. Did y’all ever see the two little girls from England perform ‘Super Bass’ on the Ellen show? It’s not the type of song I’d want my young daughter singing, but the girls were quite adorable.</p>
