Great Guitar Riffs

Knights of Cydonia by Muse - the riff for the last 2-ish minutes

Sounds like Jimi Hendrix reborn.
Mikes too old to actually be the reincarnation, but you should hear him play The Star Spangled Banner.
:)

Don’t Misunderstand Me-Rossington Collins Band

Great guitar riffs? Mark Knopfler’s “Sultans of Swing” long-play extravaganza, from a live recording at a 1983 Wembley Stadium concert. Truly life altering! Actually, I think just about any recorded guitar pickin’ by Knopfler falls into the “great” category.

That’s a great example.

Maybe “memorable” would’ve been a better title.
Sultans of Swing a classic, but I prefer Down To The Waterline and they’re both tunes you can crank to “11”

I like Mark Knopfler too- but I have to say,[Mike McCready gives the best hugs of any big rock star that I have ever met.](<a href=“- YouTube”>- YouTube; )

“Always With Me, Always With You” by Joe Satriani. The whole piece is one great guitar riff after another (there are no words).

The anti-YouTube link should be waived for the music threads.
I’m a go get Al Sharpton so we cans march.
