CT resident here. We are supposed to get between 6-12 inches of snow, followed by a wintry mix. This on top of the fresh four inches we got yesterday. Schools are already canceling for tomorrow.

What’s happening where you are?

I’m just grateful that DH was flying today…and not tomorrow!

I just read an email from the parent rep at Lafayette saying that even if the offices are closed tomorrow, most classes will meet and it is up to the professor to decide. My son told me yesterday that most of his professors live as close to campus as he does so he didn’t expect to have any cancelled. Since the vast majority of students live on campus, it makes sense not to cancel.

Snowing wildly here in NW Ohio for the past 2 hours. At least 6 inches expected overnight. D’s high school just cancelled for tomorrow as are most closing now. City is going on a level 3 at 11pm - only emergency/ necessary cars alllowed on the roads- they will reevaluate at 5am. This is the 4th major snowstorm this year. Our sidewalks and drives and neighborhood streets currently have inches of ice on them from a rain event on Saturday. So our surfaces are basically compacted snow topped with inches of ice and now another half a foot of snow + expected to top all that.

Ten inches yesterday. 5 to 7 called for tonight before the freezing rain starts at sunrise. And I don’t think I’ll bother writing a sermon for Sunday…

No snow here since Saturday, but 3-6 inches expected overnight - and more in a couple days. We had the coldest month on record in our area last month. I am tired of cold, tired of frozen pipes, tired of snow …

Going to Florida over Valentine’s weekend for my friend’s wedding. Hoping for warm weather in Palm City! :)

Snow and freezing rain right now. All the schools are closing again, online school day. Three - six inches of snow possibly a half inch of ice, . Just done with winter.

We’re also in the up to 0.50" of ice belt. I will trade 12" of snow for that, which could mean downed power lines, trees and general destruction. Ugh…schools closed again tomorrow.

Only bright side is S1 is getting extra time to review for the ACT on Saturday.

We’ve got snow coming tonight. Reports have varied a lot but they’re saying now 3-6 inches with the higher amounts being near the Ohio border. I live near the Ohio border… I do think we’re kind of lucky being on the north end of this storm this time though. Indy looks like it’s getting nailed with close to a foot of snow.

And I swear I heard Al Rocher say something about measuring snow in feet on the east coast this weekend. I feel for y’all.

3-6 predicted here.
I have a Skype interview so I’m missing my first class already. Might be a 2-skipper and calling it a day.
Tonight we spent 25 minutes trying to get my fiance’s car INTO the driveway as it was somehow stuck on the ice and couldn’t get the front tire to connect to the ground.
Screw this winter. Just screw it.

No exaggeration here. January was officially the snowiest on record and the temps put us in the top 5 for coldest January. What exaggeration?
