Great....more snow!

^^^ I think all of RIT is connected via tunnels which would be wonderful in the winter.

Yes, Oswego certainly does get more snow - way more. But it’s not big enough population wise to make any Most City list. It’s not by Onondaga Lake - that is Syracuse. It’s Lake Ontario Oswego is on.

My brain must have wanted to forget it’s name for some reason. The Tug Hill area gets an unbelievable amount of snow. A friend from Florida left our town near Route 81, and it was not snowing, and she drove right into a whiteout between Syracuse and Oswego and it took hours to finally reach the starch city.

I’m in a little suburb sandwiched between two cities on the list, one of which is in the top 10 for each of the last 3 years. Ugh.

My car’s windshield was iced up this morning in Tampa Bay area. Enough is enough already!

We had more snow last year than this, since over 30 inches fell during the big blizzard of February, 2013.

We got only a couple of inches during the latest storm. But the mountains in western Maine got about 20 inches, so my husband grabbed our middle son last night and drove to a B&B near a ski resort. They will have a fabulous day today. We used to ski all the time, but it’s so expensive that it’s a rare excursion these days.

I had icicles coating the back of my car yesterday. I’ll admit, that’s a first. I don’t mean like one or two- I mean the entire back of my car was covered in icicles.

I noticed that one of my car’s exhaust pipes was completely plugged with snow. When I back out of my driveway, I sometimes back into a pile of snow. Good thing the other pipe was clear.

BTMell, my daughter is in your same town. She called me wed night and sadi she just had to embrace the crappy snow. She and 4 other students spent 4 hours and made a 6 ft tall igloo. I gotta. Say it was impressive

Yikes, sorry for typos, on phone and won’t let me edit.

toledo, is that beautiful Tudor your house?

Oh my gosh, @GA2012MOM - I SAW that igloo! It WAS awesome. You should be very proud :))

No frickin way BTmell!!! It in the front yard??? I only have pics…would love to see it! They were 5 med students, just trying to have some fun

Too funny about the igloo! Thanks, bookworm. Yes, that’s my tudor.

Well, where we live is kind of small  I could see my boys doing something like that. It was pretty cute.

Low tonight will be pushing zero. This will be a banner year for heating suppliers…natural gas, electric, propane, pellets, coal, fuel oil, and kerosene.

TonyK - here too. The wood stove is cranking! OTOH, it’s beautiful here today. It’s about 25 and the sun is shining. So can’t complain. (well, too much)

Another one is coming. Will this one finally be the last?
