In my area, you can apply, but what can you tell me about Habitat for Humanity?
What do you need to know that you can’t find on their website?
Experiences, personal opinions, maybe information to have that would benefit for me before I went @Shanban1607
Ask your counselor or current members for anything they might know or suggest.
Are you talking about volunteering with them?
My kids did a high school based project, not at a build site. In college, one did the site work, anything from hammer and nails to hauling, sweeping, painting, etc. They try to fit the work to the vols. You have to know the age restrictions, but many find the actual work very fulfilling. You usually work alongside adults, some of whom have been doing this for years, depending on where you are.
If you mean is it a good EC, sure. But understand it’s random, a one-time thing for some or maybe a few times/year. You’d want some other hands-on community work, as well.
Thank you! @lookingforward
