HALLOWEEN and my teen is...

dressed as a nerd, and it scared me how easily she could pull it off! What costume is your teen wearing tonight?

Goth…

Lucy (from the grape crushing episode)

A flying monkey! :::cue Wicked Witch music:::

A porcelain doll with a frilly dress, long curls and a big bow in her hair.

One is away at school and the other one is “too old”. My brother just sent me pics of his preschooler and kindergartner in their costumes. Kindof bummed me out!

My other teenager (the one in college) was a ninja over the weekend. And my kindergartener (um, yeah) is a PIRATE.

Halloween is one of the many days in the year when we are not at all sorry we started over. :)

zoosermom, I now have an image stuck in my head, that of a porcelain doll singing “Hail to the Chief!” Thanks!

college S was Bono! D1 & D2 are on the porch with friends handing out candy

I miss my trick-or-treaters!!! :(

DD just called me, it seems her friend that she is trick-or treating with is wearing a bridesmaid dress and a tiara, so since DD is dressed as a nerd, they are now officially, “Beauty and the Geek!”

College frosh daughter is a lobster; youngest one “too old” but she was a flying monkey last year

16-year football player S off to a party in a cheer leader outfit that got passed down years ago when older S had to cheer at a powder puff game. (It doesn’t zip at all in the back and the top must be awfully stretchy. He stopped going door to door at age 12 so it’s nice to have a party to attend. Older one (19) is reportedly a mad scientist (goggles, lab coat, spiky hair). I told him to invest in a good adult costume for next year when the sales come out as he will get decades of good use out of it.

D never really liked dressing in costume-
I did get her a " 101 doggy with spots" costume/sleeper when she was about 4, but other than that she doesn’t get dressed up- she does sometimes do spirit week at school however
I am at school & she is going to hand out the candy at home.

Older Ds freshman year at Reed she was some sort of biohazard- she was adorable I have a pic of their whole dorm
[She’s the one in front with the hypodermic needle](http://web.mac.com/emeraldkity411/Site/Welcome_2.html</a>)

“zoosermom, I now have an image stuck in my head, that of a porcelain doll singing “Hail to the Chief!” Thanks!”

Welcome to my world!

(Just be careful not to sing out loud.)

Princess of Death.

He went to a party with friends. No costumes tonight. They had a halloween dance last weekend at school, costume required to enter.
D1 and D2 are at college but both dressed up for parties last weekend. One went as a witch, the other a pirate.

15 year old is going to a party - as a cowboy. I’m happy, he can wear the chaps and vest I made for his big bro a couple of years ago. He’s pleased to have a legit excuse to wear the hat.

Ruthless dictator (I think). I wonder if she is going to have much luck with her Trick or Treat for UNICEF dressed up like that.

SR- Doc from Back to the Future, friend is Marty and they are trick or treating!
8th grader is Meredith Gray from Gray’s Anatomy
6th grader doesn’t like to go out -would rather hand out the candy
