Flat bats are easier to hit with. But in cricket, batsmen actually have to aim their shots instead of just swinging. In baseball there is no physical intimidation - isn’t it illegal for the pitcher to aim the ball at the batter?
I don’t think cricket is the hardest sport, I just think it is harder than baseball.

Don’t screw this up UNC!!! [my prediction: unc will win by 3 points]

No way UNC wins. They’re nowhere near as good as Duke.

Then you have never played water polo. It is a sprint back and forth, using all of the rugby skills (which is mentioned as hardest sport) and swimming(also mentioned ad hardest sport. It is also phisically gruling trying ti wrestle your opponent to get a pass or shot. When you don’t have subs you’re always in the water, like playing a full football game. Also there is the mental difficulty and preperagon to it. All in all I think either this or rowing( although they lack phisical contact) or mma are the three hardest sports.
Water polo, gymnastics, xc/track, and maybe swim
