Ahh I submitted everything. Now what?

Will there be some sort of confirmation from Harvard?

Ahh I submitted everything. Now what?

Will there be some sort of confirmation from Harvard?

Ahh on Common App, it says that Harvard has downloaded my app and on CB, it says my scores have been sent! This is so exciting… now I’m just waiting for a confirmation e-mail from Harvard hehe

^^You should get a confirmation email with information about the application status site

^yeah, I know, but a few days/weeks later, right? That’s what most people said-they got the confirmation e-mail not right away, but a few days or weeks later.

Yeah they have to process it. I would imagine it will take a bit longer now since a lot of people are submitting today and tomorrow. It take two days to get mine, but I did it a while ago

I submitted it on the 28th, I think.

Happy New Years everyone!!

Happy new year to you too!

Please! Could somebody answer this pls!
I just sent my music supplement by courier service (I’m international)
and I realized that I was supposed to include a cover letter…!
What should I do?
And what is the cover letter? What should I write about and how long should it be??

Submitted! Happy New Year!

Sorry, shootingstar1004, I don’t know anything about extra supplements :/

Good luck to ALL of us who have submitted! Let’s pray for a big, fat package to arrive come April ;)

Just submitted! Good luck, everyone.

Submitted mine yesterday, got an e-mail about the interview today. Good luck to everyone.

Amen to that, rainbowsprinkles.

After submitting, I was thinking I no longer have any control over my Harvard app…but then I realized first semester ends in 3 weeks.

The cover letter is described on the Harvard website.
Basically its just information about you so they match the stuff to the right person (birth date, school, address, name), along with a brief paragraph or summary explaining what is attached.
[Harvard College Admissions § Applying: Supplemental Application Materials](http://www.admissions.college.harvard.edu/apply/application_process/supplements.html)

How do we find out results? On website? Email?

Is a pledge thread for Harvard '15 going to be started?

Everybody gets their results by mail, but when you applied to Harvard (on the supplement), you had a choice of getting an e-mail, too. I didn’t click it, though, because I think letters are much more exciting than waiting for the website to load.

Oh rainbow, how can you wait those extra days when you know the results are out ><.

I know, I know. It seems crazy, but I’m too scared to get my results right away. I think it’ll be terrifying to load the page and have the e-mail say CONGRATULATIONS or WE REGRET TO… I would much rather:

a) Open up my mailbox, see a tiny letter, and cry my eyes out
OR
b) Open up my mailbox, see a big package, and jump for joy!

(option B is much more appealing…)

I will lurk through the Official RD Decisions Harvard Class of '15 (omg just typing that bit was scary) and see if other people got in or not, and get my own results later.

Snail mail > e-mail for decisions hehe
