omg yeah I know what you mean…my head is going to explode waiting for the webpage to load…Although my chances are so slim I still have hope so it’s gonna be really scary. =

And yeah we should totally have a pledge thread.

And yeah we should totally have a pledge thread.

I can start the pledge thread if you want, though I’d feel kind of bad about doing it because I’m not getting in :P

I don’t think I have a great chance, as well. It’s still worth a shot, though. We can be proud of ourselves because at least we tried our best! No regrets, right?

Applications are totally out of my hands now. It’s scary.

Hello everyone. I can officially join u guys now. I doubt that even a person with super stellar scores will have confidence for admission to Harvard. Let’s not think about our chances and cross our fingers instead. And prepare for the interview. I’ve got my interview e-m, and I just applied 2 days ago. This is going so fast.

out of curiosity - what is a pledge thread?

I haven’t got an interview e-mail yet, maybe b/c I live in the suburbs… in Canada (: lol
^a pledge thread is a thread where everyone promises they’ll post their decisions & stats when they come out

I thought Harvard decisions are just an email sent with your decision on it, so no website loading? Or is it a website too or something?

For those of you who applied to multiple Ivies. (I’m assuming most of you)

Will you check Harvard’s decisoin first or last? or neither?

I personally will check it last. Mainly because it’s the school I’m least expecting to get into (although the others are just as impossible)

I’d check Harvard’s second to last.

I didn’t apply to any other ivy league school and I am not that hopeful for Harvard either; but you never know. :)

I will check it first! If I get in I won’t be scared to check the other schools; if I don’t get in, I still have hope in the other schools…

I still haven’t decided the order in which I’ll check my decisions. I’ll probably figure it out later after I’m done freaking out that this is already 2011 :p

I’d probably check them in order of availability. But Yale’s would come last.

^ That makes sense. I think I’ll try it. :)

I would have thought some obsessive cc soul wd have made a nice chart of dates ivy and other elites release their decisions and methods (email, website, snail mail)… Still hoping one will. Yale, you have to check website, right?

^ Yeah, I think you have to log into your Eli account to find out your decision (any Yale SCEA’ers can correct me on this one if I’m wrong). Same goes for Princeton, even though that’s not called an Eli account.

wait, why would you check Yale last? Is it bad or something…sorry I’m kind of new here to all this lingo at College Confidential.

There is a separate decisions website for Yale. There would be a link to it on the main webpage so don’t worry.

I meant I’d check Yale’s last.
