guys, I have been too superstitious to post until now. But I wanted to show my solidarity.
Can anyone explain how decisions will be released on the portal? Will we all be able to check our decision at 5:00pm EST on the 10th? Do some decisions not go up for a little while after 5pm?

OK, I hate to be one of “those” people, but don’t you think Harvard would have sent us an e-mail or some notification by now if Thursday was the confirmed release date? Or is this not something that they have done in the past (that is, sending out a confirmation e-mail)? I totally believe all of you who called admissions and were told that Thursday is the release date, but I’m a teeny bit skeptical. Does anyone else feel like this? Is there ANY written proof of this? I sincerely don’t mean to bother about this…but I’m freakin out a little bit.
I called the office, and asked if the date is definite. They said that the date is definite.

Just tell yourself you’re not getting in. It’s the best strategy-- it’s helped me keep sane, go out with friends, and just go on with life. Then you’ll be pleasantly surprised if you get in!
