I would never check anything with my parents there. I need my alone time to fully understand what going on. I didn’t even tell them when decisions come out but not like they really care (not in a bad way, they just want be to get into Rutgers and they’ll be fine). I probably won’t tell them until I send my other apps which will probably be winter break

@harvarddreamz yes. Multiple people and even guidance counselors have called in and they have said it is definitely coming out tomorrow at 5PM EST. If it does not come out at that time, it’s not the end of the world. But they definitely are.

I would post up parts of my essay but I’m not sure if that’s a smart thing to do. But my essay is pretty much about the whole dark skin vs light skin debate in a way. But it centered around sophomore year, when this girl said that black people were just burnt white people. If someone said that now, I would definitely go off on them but I was just an insecure sophomore and those words along with other things really affected me
