@crimsondream22 Let’s hope you’ll be able to make it to the Visitas. If not, it’s still not that bad. You’re a still Harvardian (unlike some of us deferred folks. lol )
My son would agree with @skieurope. He was able to attend Visitas yet it was Harvard’s pre-orientation that was by far the most beneficial and fun. So make sure to keep pre-orientation on your radar whether you can or cannot attend Visitas.

Got mine - there’s no t-shirt or mention of a future package with a t-shirt. Guess we’ll have to buy our own.

@skieurope Thank you so much. Exactly, although it would’ve been nice if I were able to attend Visitas, I honestly am more than grateful for the fact that I can still get a student visa and come to Harvard. No worries.

I haven’t received the package either. Ahhh I really want the t-shirt haha. Has the facebook group been active? I don’t have a facebook account so I was wondering whether it’s worth it to make one and join the group. Facebook is censored in my country, so no one uses it. Didn’t see a point in setting up an account if I couldn’t connect with people, but now there IS a reason. What do y’all think?

I am an admitted student to Harvard’s class of 2022 and I had two quick questions:
1.) Have all the other admitted students received their official acceptance letter in the mail already? I know the one by post is the official letter and acceptance package, but I have not yet received anything? I looked on Twitter, and it seems most people have gotten it already?? Is there anyone else who has yet to receive it?
2.) The admitted students Facebook group; is it necessary for me to join it? What kind of things are being discussed within the group (I assume it’s mainly just introductions and what not)?
@Hoikulik123 1. I received my official letter a couple days ago.
2. You’re correct, it’s mainly been kids asking each other questions and connecting through social media/messaging.
I would recommend joining the Facebook group if you can. Our class FB group still is fairly active even now a few years have passed - it’s a great way to easily get in contact with other members of your class, find out about events happening around campus throughout the year (often people pub it on the page) and get a feel for your community! If you can’t for whatever reason, don’t worry too much, but it’s generally a good time and might help you make your college decision if you haven’t already.
