mine doesn’t look different. i’m kind of skeptical about the original poster, since they only joined CC 2 hours ago and posted this right after they joined?
lol. Lost stored passwords and usernames. Had to rejoin. Admissions called about 5pm eastern time. A long, long application process but thrilled for the outcome. Honestly not sure what major he selected, he had been debating. Good luck to everyone. The hope is more waves of waitlist action are to come!
Congratulations! Can I ask if your son is full pay?
I am not on the w/l for Harvard but I am waiting on Stanford’s so just wanted to see if it is only full pay off the w/l first.
has anyone else gotten a call?
No. Prett sure the earlier poster was simply messing around.
They are sending out the first wave tonight, the wait-list status disappeared.
It’s gone on mine too. Anyone knows what that means?
I hope it means “closure coming soon”!
Waitlist status still appears on my portal!
my waitlist status is gone too
hello,
My portal changed and the waitlist status is no longer there. But, it does ask me to “Update my SSN” and “Update my Email”. Can anyone tell me what this means?
It asks everyone that I’m pretty sure. That’s on the “Profile” section that everyone still has. The waitlist status section remains on my portal, and I also have “Update SSN” and “Update my Email.”
my waitlist status is also gone. perhaps you aren’t included in the first wave?
Has anyone received an update at all yet?
I got it back… did not get in. Language seemed to apply their yield was too high to accept anybody but they might just be trying to make me feel better
My son received an update on his portal just now - admission denied. Good luck to everyone still waiting.
Haven’t gotten an update, I’m clearly still on the waitlist. This is rough…
Did they get an email first or just checked the portal? Also…your son is amazing for having been waitlisted!
D24 was accepted! No call, no email, just a new status update in portal.
got denied. the portal says “a high percentage of students have accepted our offer of admission and the first-year class is now full.”
