<p>Hey everyone. I’ve been checking this thread since May 1st obsessively. I called this morning at 10:30am est and was told that decisions are coming out end of this week (Thursday and Friday) and maybe until the beginning of next week. I asked if we would be receiving emails as well as hard copies and she said we were.</p>
<p>That being said, it seems like everytime there is news about when we hear back, it gets delayed even further. I wouldn’t be surprised if the suspense continues to the very end of May…</p>

<p>I called yesterday, and the lady said today. She seemed pretty confident. I don’t know, though. I surely hope it’s today, so this process isn’t dragged out any longer.</p>
<p>Perhaps calls are today and official emails/letters will be out by the end of the week.</p>
<p>well someone wrote before that theyre supposed to MAIL out decisions to everyone today, meaning that most people will probably get them thurs/fri (unless you live close, then perhaps tomorrow)
so maybe theyd call those who got in today so theyd know to expect something in the new few days?

<p>OK, so as a rather obsessed harvard-waitlistee, I’ve been checking this thread rather often since i’m in as much suspense as many of you are. And I was continuously and repeatedly disappointed when I read posts by people who said they called harvard and were told that decisions aren’t coming out today. Then someone wrote they called, and they they ARE coming out today.
So I called myself. And I almost NEVER write anything on CC, but I couldn’t help myself this time. I was confidently told by admissions that decisions WILL come out today by email after 5 and that letters were sent as well. Decisions ARE COMING TODAY!!! So whoever wrote that they called and were told that they are not is lying. That really disappoints me, that somewhere there are unsatisfied and weird people, who because of a lack of better things to do, and a lack of respect or extreme jealousy towards people who got on the harvard waitlist, decide to lie and say they called harvard. Sorry to rant.
For all the other actual APPLICANTS reading this, keep waiting because decisions are coming soon!!</p>

I share your frustration and pain. I would be estatically happy if decisions were given out today. I didn’t post what I did out of “jealousy”. This morning I called Harvard and I was told by a lady that decisions would not come today. Since 9am office hours opened I was anxiously checking my email until I decided to call at 10:30am. I posted so that other waitlistees don’t hold their breath all day, like I was in the morning. If you heard otherwise, great. I just find it offensive that you are calling other posters ■■■■■■ and liars.</p>

<p>Not necessarily. Wait until you get your emails to come to that conclusion.</p>
<p>I guess that there would always be a percentage of the wait list that stays on in the event that a 2014 z-lister decides to not come in from their gap year or a 2015 backs out late in the process over finances or whatever. My niece was settled into going to UC Berk 2 years ago and got “the call” from Princeton in late July. It DOES happen!</p>
<p>Also, z-list acceptances are emails ( I know someone who got one last year).</p>
