Harvard Waitlist 2015 **discuss here**

Rejected, but it’s all good. I’ll be seeing them at The Game anyway…erm, I mean, beating them. :)

Good luck to everyone else!

No e-mail for me… yet. I guess I can cling to a thread of hope for a few more days. Or have they already called all of the 10-15?

LondonGentleman, We haven’t heard anything either. Maybe they are sending the rejections in waves to not overload system? We never got a call so I assume my S did not get accepted. This is maddening.

Rejected, and still waiting on Columbia, Duke, and Penn.

Nice to finally get some closure though.

if you got rejected today where will you be going?

Looks like so many people who were on the Harvard waitlist did not get into any other Ivy school. Is it possible the next best schools they got into were BU, Hamilton, Northeastern??

They probably figured that they would gain entry to at least ONE Ivy, then were smart enough to hit up some safties, so thats were they went.

I also did not receive anything from Harvard today either, no call or e-mail. I’m starting to wonder if they got my postcard…
A friend of mine also did not receive any news.

My S was accepted to Penn, Princeton, Brown, Dartmouth, waitlisted at Columbia, Harvard.

Rejected. Oh well.

Columbia '15 it is!!

I also did not receive an e-mail today.

no email… though i’m a yahoo guy, so maybe those are being slow again (my yahoo was slow for northwestern and harvard when RD rolled around)

My sincere congratulations to those who were accepted! You beat ridiculous odds!

I’ll taking a gap year… so here’s to hoping for Class of 2016 :P

I’m so glad the wait is over. I wish someday in the future college decisions come back as soon as you press submit. :P

Good luck to those still waiting! Thanks for the company.

They’re giving me until May 27th.

And yes, I was notified early. They called me last week, and initially I thought it was a prank. Haha.

It sounds like you’re all going to great schools, congrats :)

As a Harvard graduate who has spent her life working for men and women who did not go to Harvard, I congratulate the rejected, our future employers. Keep us in mind! We’re arrogant as hell, but if you play us right we’ll do good work.

rejected…gap year and then reapply? i’m not happy with my current options at all…and i’m really interested in a gap year anyways. any suggestions? my parents seem like they will disown me if i did take a gap year.

Rejected. I was initially very upset, but then I realized that this is only a tragedy if I let it define me in a negative way. I’ve never been handed anything in my life, and it makes sense that this would be no exception. I know that I was intellectually capable of attending, but I also know that this rejection has the power to be a huge inspiration to me. I am so excited to attend NYU and I look forward not only to making a name for myself but also leaving the world a better place than it was when I entered it.

More than anything, I am happy that I have closure on all of this. Thank you all so much for your support; all of your posts helped me, even if you didn’t know it. A sincere congratulations to the accepted; this is your moment. As for me, I’m off to go update my education info and add the NYU decal to my car :)

You are very impressive francisvdahlmann.I wish you well, though I don’t think you need it… You already have a winning attitude
Congrats to all. My son will be applying next year, though I don’t know whether it will be his top choice

Hmm so all the emails are rejection? I got one… I just haven’t opened it yet haha

rejected…waiting on more wait list decisions :frowning:
I agree with you chloeSong…
