so historically is there a good guess? if first wave tends to be legacy and east coast, i’ve heard second is FGLI but when dk middle and high class get a chance then?
also does anyone have it on good authority that there will be the second wave today?
There will not be one today
Any specific reason?
did you hear that?
First Round of Decisions: Some Redditors mentioned that the first round of waitlist decisions often comes out in mid-May. [“Looks like we’ll have to wait until later in the month to find out. Some comment on Reddit mentioned the first Friday after the 15th of May is when first round comes out.”]
- Late June/Early July: This is another critical period where many schools, including Harvard, may make additional offers. [“Back in 1999, I was notified by a phone call from the Harvard admissions office the last possible day on 1 July.”]
so is this to say it’s likely for a wave today? it’s been 4 weeks
this waitlist pmo
real
surely this week they have a wave right??and does anyone know if it’s true that they will let more ppl off this year
I am really hoping that all of us from this thread get off from the waiting list. But it has been so frustrating. Why Harvard is taking forever?
In the meantime, when we are waiting for the final decision, would you guys mind telling where are committed so far?
Hope so! Fingers crossed
Please take a look at the news.
There is zero chance that Harvard will start fall with fewer than 1660 first-years. Whether they take the last few of the WL in June vs July or August is of no import to them. While frustrating to those waiting, Harvard has bigger issues on which to focus at the moment.
what’s happening and what does it mean for us waitlisted folks?
this year in their letter they said that they will make most decisions in may, but expect to finish all decisions by end of june. will this change?
Cmon man, google is there
Yes. Most likely we’ll have decisions by mid july.
That’s a question for Trump. It is what it is at this point. In the interim, find something to keep you busy and love the school that loves you back.
