Most likely yes. Or they are currently in the committee right now making decisions.
ooo congrats where y from? bc my demographics otherwise are like the exact same loll
is that possible? for them to be making decisions and concurrently updating?
Yes. It isn’t recommended to do so. Slate has an option where you can open a application and just change the application code from waitlist to waitlist/admit. It seems like someone is just clicking admit instead of waitlist/admit.
Or it is just these posts may simply be not true.
huh that’s weird. is there any way to call and ask what’s happening?? i don’t think ppl would just straight up lie about it tbh
You’d be surprised about who lies.
Bruh this better not be like the covid year when they sent out the reject emails first week of august
I don’t think it will go for that long. Possibly just until mid july.
Congratulations!
My daughter didn’t receive a call either when she got off the waitlist last year - only the email and portal status update, exactly your experience.
Best wishes on your decision. If you accept, my advice remains to try to get in a pre-orientation session if possible.
is anyone willing to call and check w them lol or at least ask them for better communication
no way the scotus just ruled that injunctions can’t block executive orders anymore just as they ended birthright citizenship, i can’t do this anymore
If someone here is actually lying about this process - please don’t.
The waitlist is already stressful and time-consuming enough. Have some empathy.
would u be okay to call the office and check? i did and they said they don’t have info so maybe if u reach out then u get a diff person who knows more?
Brodie if u want to so bad why don’t u do it urself dawg
Oh shi nvm
I dont think ppl are lying multiple ppl here and on reddit have been saying they’ve gotten calls, my portal hasn’t changed so unless yours has I think it’s safe to assume we just won’t be getting our decisions today
Then again, a lot of people said a wave would be taking place june 12. Never happened. Please just take everything you see online with a grain of salt and form your own opinions.
From what we know Harvard has sent letters to transfer students that decisions will be out by mid-July.
And me personally, my counselor had talked to the regional admissions officer they are going to do decisions soon. And with the new scotus decision they may have to reconvene.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think the SCOTUS decision will have an impact on admissions.
The SCOTUS decision simply bars nationwide injunctions, something Harvard wasn’t reliant on anyway because the past rulings on international students were Harvard-specific.
Are you full pay?
