Possibly. There is always another wave that takes place in july. They have to lock the database to do any changes. Meaning that have to lock your portal.
i think if theres no lock within the next 10 mins or so then likely no decisions today (unless ofc if someone gets a call)
It seems as if almost nobody got off today, one or two maybe across both Reddit and here. I thought more internationals deferring would mean more getting off. Additionally it seems they are targeting higher income due to funding cuts or something based off the demographic of the very small sample size we have.
i agree ab the higher income/full pay thing, but i feel like more ppl will definitely get off the list. i just dont know if they’re doing a traditional wave or not. someone should maybe try to call and ask
It is really not possible to target full pay students.
The portal will lock if they do release decisions. Slate portal forces them to.
but not for everyone right? like it is also possible if they hypothetically let off 3 ppl today, then only those 3 ppl portals lock? bc my portal never locked i dont think for the may 15th wave

yeah i think so idt theyre doing rejections today maybe just bc the situation is so volatile so maybe theyre holding out for a lot of ppl but also idk. i wish they would just communicate lol
Many counselors use slate differently. The procedure is to first lock the database to upload decisions. Some counselors like to send calls rather than to email. Other like doing neither and just change your admissions status from their dashboard.

i just got off the waitlist today! i received an email around 11am est with a status update to my portal. i didn’t get a call before this!
