Harvard Waitlist Thread 2029

If visa appointments don’t start popping up again (for ex there are none in india) or if their negotiations aren’t going well, we are probably going to see more movement on the list.

yeah that makes sense. im moreso interested in how soon this can happen though.

if I had to guess it’d be the week of july 19.

ahh i see. i guess it’ll be a long wait until then

Do you need to send a confirmation email to indicate that you’re still interested in remaining on the waitlist?

I don’t believe so- it seemed like only do that if you wanted off

I don’t see anyone getting rejected. Do they just accept people or keep them on the waitlist?

i think they rejected some off waitlist in may wave, but in the late june wave it was only few acceptances and all the rest ppm stayed on the waitlist. idk when they plan on doing rejections tho

i believe highly unlikely for a wave today, but anyways, report back here if yall hear anything

I got the same letter. Does anyone know if they sent waitlist rejection letters today or did everyone get this?

What letter did they send u today? I didn’t get anything

Probably the standard email asking if you want to stay on the waitlist. My student got that email.

There is not going to be a wave today. Just due to the fact tomorrow is 4th of july.

Ohhh — I thought they sent it to everyone last Friday. Any thoughts as to why they sent it on diff dates?

like the would u like to remain on the waitlist email? did u just get it today? most ppl i know got it last week

Just curious. Is sending another LOCI helpful if I submitted one after being deferred? Seems superfluous as I have no major updates to include.

That answers your question

No. Only if you have a major update like winning a state/national award or national scholarship.

Additionally i would like to add something my student asked me. “Will submitting new ap scores help?”. No it will not.

They didn’t ask if you wanted to stay on but they asked if you wanted to be removed.
