<p>A friend of mine got an admission offer from Roosevelt Academy, Middelburg, The Netherlands. Has anyone heard about that university?
Roosevelt Academy is a prestiges liberal arts school which is part of Utrecht University. UU is ranked 6th in Europe according to Shanghai research [<a href=“http://ed.sjtu.edu.cn/rank/2006/ARWU2006_TopEuro.htm][/url”>http://ed.sjtu.edu.cn/rank/2006/ARWU2006_TopEuro.htm][/url</a>].
Does anyone have idea where to look whether it could be a good choice? I assume the university is not a good place to hear how good they are…</p>

You can’t consider it as prestigious as op 30 US colleges…</p>
<p>If you want to apply to a UC in the Netherlands, you better apply to University college Utrecht… It’s better known, existed longer ( so more experience with the liberal arts concept) and is also considered to be the better of the two.</p>

<p>I think it’s pretty good, but I think UCU is better, too. Although I can’t say for sure. I haven’t visited any of the colleges, so I’m just guessing. I might visit UCU in about 3 weeks, though.</p>
