Yes it is a nice school, but I’m looking up if they have ED/ EA and it appears they do. I think user applied as ED or EA and may likely have to attend, most ED/ EA schools I know if accepted in that phase you must attend unless you prove you cant afford it, just how the contracts work. </p>

<p>When I visited in April, they said that there’s no ED. And if there is, I highly doubt that its binding.</p>

Yeah I know, I thought I remember ShampooSwallowoer mentioning Emory as a top choice ( along with OSU-Columbus etc…) so I would assume if Iowa State University do have Ed/Ea its more than likely non-binding.</p>
<p>can you apply ED to multiple colleges? and what if you get in lets say to Cornell ED but can’t pay for it, what do you do? i mean its a binded agreement, is there any way out if they don’t give enough financial aid?</p>

<p>You have to legally prove that your not able to make up the cost, and if that fails then you must attend since it’s a contract.</p>

I didn’t send papers in, OP did. Also, ISU application is not free, they also do not take fee waivers either… all students must pay application fee.</p>
<p>I know two students who were recruited during our junior year (08-09). One is going to Rutgers on a lacrosse scholarship, and the other is going to UPenn on a basketball scholarship.</p>

I know a kid with 36 ACT who applied his junior year (this past year) to Duke and Duke rejected him while on the other hand Case Western outright offered him a full ride and he didn’t even apply there! <em>sigh</em> I think he’s going to turn Case down though and try for Duke again in the fall.</p>
<p>A student in my class, she is persuing in the engineering field claim she was offered a full ride at Purdue University engineering school, or either she can go through her original plan 2+2+2 and attend Lansing Community College for two years, and Michigan State University for 4. She told me and a few other students she decided to countinue the 2+2+2. She is known to be the smartest girls in our class ( actually our graduating class), 2008 summer scored around a 33 on ACT, though this junior year she scored a 27.
2+2+2 is popular at my school for those wanting to persue a career in engineering.</p>
<p>One who many say who is the smartest guy of our class is Asian, I’m not sure if he plan to do the 2+2+2, but heard he said he wants to attend Michigan State University.</p>

Actually now my top choice is University of Michigan- Ann Arbor, though I still have high interest in Michigan State University.</p>
