Hey, everyone.

I was recommended to this site from my friend, who is also a member here. Im hoping you guys can help me figure out what my next move is.

In 2006 I was a senior in High School with 25 ½ credits, extra-curriculars (cheerleading, softball, swimming to name a few), and a 3.2+ GPA. On the cusp of graduating, I failed my Math Proficiency exam and wasnt able to obtain my diploma.

I called my local community college, but they had told me that I wouldnt be eligible for financial aid because I dont have my GED.

Is the GED my only option? Would I be able to re-take the MP test? In Las Vegas (Clark County), youre required to have 22.5 credits in order to graduate, so Im just so confused at this point what to do next and the counselors here really dont offer much help. :/

Thank you for reading; Ill be waiting for you guys to weigh in.

(P.S. - I hope I have this in the right place this time. Originally I posted it in the wrong place and received no replies, but couldn’t delete it for some reason…)
