It’s a long story but the basic principle is last fall I got accepted to my dream college (Cedarville University) I also have Cystic Fibrosis. Long story short last fall I got double pnemounia and was only there 12 days. Decided to drop the semester and try again. This spring I made it a month and a half…and then same story. My doctor advised not going back as the cold climate is bad for my lungs. So I am going to commute somewhere locally. The thing is every time I look at colleges around here it just seems sub par…or hurts because I remember what I lost. I was really depressed (saw physcologist) about it all and am still working through some issues. How do I be subjective and stop comparing everything to Cedarville?
You need to figure out what college circumstance would work best for you given the restrictions you have.
For example, would a quarter system work better? That way they your class would run 10 weeks instead of 15 and you may have a better chance of making it through.

I imagine it is very frustrating to not be able to go to college where you want…try to remember what you like about Cedarville and see if you can find similar aspects at the local colleges.
It’s good you are seeing a psychologist…you have to mourn the college you thought you would have.
