Hello, please forgive me if I am posting in the wrong section, I am new here, and just didn’t known which one to ask in.
I just turned 14, about 3 months ago. Now that I am fourteen, I have to start looking abroad at my future life. Because now I have to think about what I want my future career to be, and how I can start preparing for it. Now, I have been thinking about this for much longer than 3 months. In fact, about 4 years ago I decided I wanted to get into game design and development.
Now that I kniw my goal, I am asking a different question. How do I get there?
I need advice. Is there any skills I should practice, the three most obvious ones that I am already practicing, are 3D Modeling, using Game Engines and Coding. But is there anything else I should try to practice?
I was wondering if I should learn things like, Graphic UI Design, or Game Optimization, or anything similar to it. That way when I get to college I will be ready, and I will have a head start in my courses.
Is there any advice you could give me? I would really appreciate it. Thanks!
