I think your SAT superscore is absolutely fine. You are US citizen living abroad. If you play your cards well, you will end up in a good affordable school (not Ivy, not tippy top, but well respected. ) If you shooting for stars, stop now. You have limited resources and you need to focus on quality education and not prestige. Many US citizens are in the same boat. Not everyone is in top school.
